Privacy Policy
Alpha Crypto Pulse
Effective date: October 12, 2026
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Alpha Crypto Pulse ("the app") collects, uses, and retains information. The app is operated by Christopher San-Martin, doing business as Dashpup Studios.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the app's features: account identifiers (email, username, or sign-in provider identifier), content you post inside the app (messages, posts, comments, reactions, pins, reports), portfolio data you add, device identifiers used for push notifications, and standard technical data (app version, device type) used for maintenance.
Payment information, if you purchase in-app products, is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
How We Use Your Information
Information is used to operate the app's features (deliver messages, show portfolios), send push notifications you have enabled, enforce community rules and respond to reports, improve app stability using performance data, display advertising within the app, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation. Certain advertising-related disclosures or transfers may qualify as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable state privacy laws.
Advertising
Alpha Crypto Pulse displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob and its advertising partners may collect or process certain device information, including advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Google's AAID), IP addresses, device model and operating system, approximate location derived from IP, and information about your interactions with advertisements.
You can control advertising personalization through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → "Personalized Ads"
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Reset advertising ID" and "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent or provide users with appropriate privacy choices before enabling certain advertising technologies.
For more information about how Google uses advertising data, see Google's Privacy & Terms at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to support authentication, cloud hosting, data storage, push notifications, application performance, cryptocurrency price data, advertising, and other operational functions. These include:
- Firebase (Google) — processes user data on our behalf for authentication, cloud storage, push notification infrastructure, and database services
- Expo — routes push notifications using device push tokens
- Agora — provides real-time voice communication infrastructure for live call-in features; processes voice audio during active calls
- Google AdMob — processes device and advertising identifiers to display advertisements (see Advertising section above)
- CoinGecko, DexScreener, and CoinMarketCap — supply cryptocurrency price and market data to our backend; no personal information about individual users is sent to these services
- Apple App Store and Google Play Store — handle app distribution and in-app purchases under their own terms
Our service providers may process information in the United States or other jurisdictions where they operate. We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for purposes unrelated to providing their contracted services, except as permitted by applicable law and their governing agreements.
Message Retention and Deletion
Alpha Crypto Pulse automatically deletes certain user-generated content after a retention period to limit the long-term accumulation of chat data.
Deleted automatically after a set period
- Messages posted in public district channels are deleted once they are more than 30 days old.
- Messages posted in community chat channels (including custom channels) are deleted once they are more than 90 days old.
- Any photos, videos, voice notes, or other media attached to a deleted message are deleted along with it.
Kept until the author removes them or deletes their account
- Direct messages are retained until deleted by the sender or recipient, or until the associated account is deleted, subject to applicable security, moderation, and legal retention exceptions.
- Hall of Gains posts and Community Wins posts (if the post author removes a post, comments posted by other authors are kept but no longer shown).
- Comments posted on Hall of Gains or Community Wins. Each comment is kept until its own author removes it.
Not automatically deleted
- Messages in read-only channels (Welcome, Rules, Announcements, Education, Admin's Market Take, My Plays, My Bag).
- Pinned messages. The pin keeps its own copy after the original message is deleted.
- Reactions on Hall of Gains and Community Wins posts.
- Reports kept by moderators. When a message is reported, the moderation report keeps its own copy of the reported text. The original message is still deleted on its normal schedule; only the report's copy remains and is retained as long as reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, and dispute resolution. The report is preserved even if the reporter later deletes their account.
When deletion runs
Deletion runs once per day at approximately 5:00 AM Eastern Time (2:00 AM Pacific). Actual execution times may vary due to maintenance, technical interruptions, or processing delays. Deleted messages and their attached media cannot be recovered through the app. Users who wish to retain content should save it outside of Alpha Crypto Pulse before the retention period ends.
Account Deletion and Data Retention
You may delete your account from within the app at any time. When you delete your account:
- Your account identifier (email, username, or sign-in provider identifier) is removed
- Your direct messages are removed from your side of the conversation; the other party's copy of DMs they received or sent is retained in their account
- Chat messages and comments you have posted are deleted
- Communities you created are deleted
- Your Hall of Gains and Community Wins posts are removed
- Your portfolio data is deleted
- Reactions you placed and reports you filed are retained for moderation and historical record purposes
- Pinned copies of your messages pinned by other users may remain visible to those users
We delete or de-identify associated personal information in accordance with our deletion procedures, except where retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, compliance with legal obligations, or other purposes permitted by applicable law. Certain information may remain temporarily in backups or technical systems until those records are purged through established retention processes.
We do not retain personal information indefinitely without a legitimate purpose.
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You may update certain account information within the app and delete your account using the available account-deletion feature.
You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights, including rights concerning data portability, opting out of targeted advertising, and certain forms of automated processing. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encrypted connections for data transmission, access controls on our backend systems, and limiting access to personal information to authorized personnel.
No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will assess the incident and provide notifications where required by applicable law.
Age Requirements
Alpha Crypto Pulse is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information in accordance with applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at support@alphacryptopulse.com.
International Users
Alpha Crypto Pulse is operated from the United States. If you access the app from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Where required by applicable law in your jurisdiction (including the European Union's GDPR, the United Kingdom's data protection laws, or other regional privacy laws), we will provide additional protections and respond to legitimate privacy requests in accordance with those laws.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, data practices, or legal obligations.
When we make material changes, we will provide notice through the app, by email, or through another appropriate method where required by applicable law. The updated policy will identify its effective date. Where legally required, we will obtain consent before implementing changes to certain data-processing activities.
